I believe it was last month that I preached about the Christian life being like a race. I talked about striving for the prize, hindrances, pressing toward the goal, stripping for the contest, the home stretch and the prize won. Well I did a lot of emphasis on hindrances. The Lord spoke to my life as well through this message. He showed me some hindrances that were in my life and I thank God for that because as He shows you things you can repent and ask Him to help you to overcome or remove the hindrance. Now more than ever we have to hang on to God and to His Word. We are living in days that are hard and this is only going to get worse. However, we as Christians know that are hope is in God and that we do not have to fear anything. Keep pressing towards the goal. Keep your eyes on the goal. Jesus is our protector, our provider, our Savior. He will not leave you nor forsake you. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:22. God Bless You! Stay focused! And if you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, accept Him today!
