Today we are living in very unusual days. Normal is no longer normal and around the globe people are being affected in one way or another. Feeling secure and safe is in everyone's mind. Today we need God more than ever. I would like to encourage you to believe God by believing God's Word. The Bible is our number one source for strength during these difficult times.
A few words from the Pastor
God is an awesome God, well able to help us in a time of need. It does not matter how deeply we are in trouble or how we got there in the first place; but the truth is that God is presently working in the realm of faith making provision for you and me. The elements required of us are trust and faith in the Word and the PROMISES written in the Bible. It is quite certain that if you try to analyze spiritual laws using the senses the outcome could lead you to the category of unbelief. God requires us only to believe. Belief is trusting in God in the same way as a child would trust good and loving parents.
Belief is the direction towards God. In fact, test it by acting upon the Word and genuinely expect to receive the prize by doing so. In other words, act upon the laws of God.
One concern deep within the pastor’s heart is the importance of seeing the people holding on to the truth of God. Our enemy, the devil, is always seeking to destroy the testimony of believers. He attempts in every possible way to hurt the people of God by using his influence in the world. His main tool of choice is DECEPTION. When we live by mixed truths we are actually living a lie. It is for this reason that you must seek God with your entire heart, staying away from people who bring trouble and unbelief. Even some so called Christians are dangerous to be around because their lips are full of unbelief. Such individuals can pray and quote the Bible in marvelous ways, but in their innermost, they lack the relationship and revelation of the Spirit.
Friend, today is your day to live up to your commitment with God. Start by keeping your promises, and whatever you do for God in the church do it with excellence and love. After all, we are serving a marvelous God – none can compare to Him. He is awesome! His name is JESUS!
